The Apostle’s Apprentice is a weekly blog crafted by a retired pastor to share literal translations and exegetical insights from the original Greek and Hebrew texts. I developed a clean, structured website tailored to pastors and students of the Word seeking faithful, scholarly resources for sermon prep.
Key Features:
- Subscription-Based Blog: Built on Wix Studio with a gated content model. Weekly blog posts are accessible only to paid subscribers, with Stripe integration for recurring billing.
- Custom CMS for Weekly Posts: Designed a streamlined workflow for uploading and managing deep-dive Scripture translations, including embedded Greek/Hebrew formatting and downloadable study aids.
- Email Automation: Connected to Mailchimp to automatically notify subscribers when new content is published.
- Purpose-Built Forms: Included targeted contact forms for theological inquiries, translation requests, and subscriber support—each routed to the appropriate workflow.
- Minimalist, Study-Focused Design: A quiet visual aesthetic keeps the focus on the Word, with intentional typography choices and mobile-optimized reading layouts.
This site balances simplicity and scholarship, helping pastors dig deeper into Scripture while supporting a ministry rooted in biblical faithfulness.
